C'est une confirmation par le contrôleur de l'audit des nombres des pièces comptables perçues en confrontant les mentions des pièces à celles du journal comptable moyennant un signe. C'est fait à partir de journal des écritures comptables pour marquer l'existence des pièces justificatives à chaque opération.
