classiques â l'UAC : nécessite d'une pratique adéquate de
l'orientation des bacheliers au Bénin
Résumé
L'orientation scolaire et professionnelle est un processus
d'aide à la décision sur le choix d'une série
d'étude, d'une filière ou d'un métier. Il qui intervenir
bien avant l'obtention du Baccalauréat depuis la classe de
sixième et de façon idéale depuis le primaire. Nos
enquêtes dans le cadre de cette recherche ont montré qu'au
Bénin, ce n'est pas encore le cas. A cet effet, nous recommandons que la
séance d'information organisée par le Ministère de
l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique soit
organisée à l'intention des élèves de la classe de
troisième en terminale et en cours d'année scolaire. Et qu'une
deuxième séance soit organisée à l'endroit des
nouveaux bacheliers uniquement après la proclamation des
résultats du baccalauréat. Ensuite, que le Service des Etudes et
de l'Orientation Universitaire (SEOU) soit restructuré et pourvu en
spécialistes pour prendre le relais après ces deux
séances. Enfin qu'un système d'orientation bien structurée
soit mis en place pour la pratique de l'orientation dans les écoles,
collèges, et université du Bénin.
Abstract
The educational and vocational guidance is a process that must
occur before obtaining the Bachelor since the sixth grade and ideally from the
primary School. Our investigations in this research showed that in Benin, this
is not yet the case. To this end, we recommend that the briefing organized by
the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is organized for
students from third grade terminal and during the school year. And that a
second meeting be held at the location of the new graduates only after the
declaration of results of the baccalaureate. Then the Department of Studies and
Academic Orientation (Seou) be restructured and provided by specialists to take
over after these two sessions. Finally a system of well-structured orientation
is in place for the practice of guidance in schools, colleges, and University
of Benin.
