Chapitre 5. Conclusion et perspectives
Staphylococcus aureus résistant à la
méthicilline (SARM), est une cause importante d'infections chez les
patients immunodéprimés.
L'étude que nous avions entreprise a montré que
la supplémentation en sélénium, a des effets
immunostimulants fort importants, aboutissant à un renforcement du
système immunitaire.
Le sélénium pourrait avoir un grand rôle
à jouer dans la régulation de la réponse immune
innée et adaptative au cours de l'infection à SARM.
