SUMMARY
This study aims at contributing to the improvement of the
management of patients' files in the Non Government Organization Equilibre
Benin. It is a retrospective, transversal, descriptive and assessing study that
has compiled many methods of data collections and sources of information
namely:
· Data collection through questionnaires with both a
group of eleven (11) health agents (voluntary workers,
assistant-physiotherapist, physiotherapist, socioeducational centers managers)
and one hundred fifty-three (153) health-care beneficiaries and the manager of
Equilibre Benin.
· A Systematic analysis of one hundred (100) patients'
files picked at random.
· Documentary research.
The findings have revealed that out of tree independent
variables study on the basis of the criteria fixed by the references of ANAES,
only two (Organizational and professional factors) give a positive influence on
the quality of the management of patients. Institutional factors have a feeble
influence of the management of patients.
Many reasons account for this situation mostly:
The results show that aspects studied, only three are correct,
the two remaining should be improved. This is due to many reasons:
1' Absence of example to be followed of Benin.
1' The Lack of training for health agents about the importance
of patient's files. v' Absence of appropriate premise for cheeping records of
patients' files.
v' Absence of a process for the establishment of patients'
files.
1' Absence of decision marking of the board of directors
authorizing health professionals to take part in elaborating the forms
1' Absence of agreement.
