RESUME
La présente monographie est un récapitulatif
d'un cycle de trois ans d'étude en Arts Plastiques et Histoire de l'Art.
Elle justifie la réalisation du projet d'étude qui est
basé sur « la création picturale inspirée de
l'histoire d'une ville camerounaise : le cas de Nkongsamba ». Le constat
est fait sur l'absence des oeuvres d'art narratrices de l'histoire du Cameroun
en général, pourtant cette histoire offre des idées qui
peuvent susciter l'inspiration dans la création picturale.
L'importance des peintures d'histoire est capitale dans une
société, celle-ci est un moyen de conservation des
évènements passés et constitue un patrimoine culturel.
Dans ce cas, la ville de Nkongsamba offre-t-elle des éléments
pouvant faire objet d'une source d'inspiration dans la création
picturale ? En observant la richesse architecturale de cette ville, en lisant
les évènements gravés dans les livres sur la
localité des sept villages, il est évident et possible de
créer des oeuvres. Nous pouvons noter dans se cas, l'arrivée de
la colonisation, la construction de la gare ferroviaire, le regroupement des
peuples, l'apogée économique, la lutte héroïque pour
l'indépendance et le déclin.
Ce projet a pour but de pouvoir faire connaitre à
travers des illustrations picturales, l'histoire de la ville de Nkongsamba en
particulier et celle du Cameroun en général ; Promouvoir la
peinture de ce genre qui est moins pratiqué dans notre
pays.
L'oeuvre réalisée s'intitule « AGONIE
», elle met en avant plan l'ensemble des conceptions morales, sociales et
politiques de la communauté de Nkongsamba depuis sa création en
1904 par un groupe d'explorateurs Allemands. C'est un dessein qui puise son
fondement sur le vécu des populations de la contrée. Elle fait
appel à la redéfinition des enjeux dans le système
scolaire surtout dans la didactique des connaissances du passé.

ABSTRACT
This monograph is a summary of a three-year cycle of study in
Fine Arts and Art History. It justifies the project study which is based on
"the pictorial creation inspired by the story of a town in Cameroon: the case
of Nkongsamba." The conclusion is that the lack of art narrators in the history
of Cameroon in general, however, this story offers ideas that can spark
inspiration in creating pictorial.
The importance of history paintings is essential in a society,
it is a means of preserving past events and is a cultural heritage. In this
case, the city offers Nkongsamba her possible elements being a source of
inspiration in creating pictorial? Observing the architectural richness of the
city, reading events etched into the books on the locality of the seven
villages, it is obvious and can create works. We will note in case the arrival
of colonization, the construction of the railway station, the grouping of
peoples, economic heyday, the heroic struggle for independence and decline.
This project aims to be able to know through pictorial
illustrations, the history of the city of Nkongsamba in particular and Cameroon
in general, promote the painting of this kind is less practiced in our
country.
The work done entitled "AGONY", it is in the foreground of all
moral conceptions, social and political community Nkongsamba since its creation
in 1904 by a group of explorers Germans. This is a plan that draws on the
experiences of foundation populations countered. It appeals to the redefinition
of the issues in the school system, especially in the teaching of knowledge of
the past.
