CONCLUSIONL'agriculture est la principale source d'activité des populations rurales du Bénin. La présente étude à travers la problématique a montré l'importance de l'agriculture dans l'économie béninoise, a mis l'accent sur les problèmes que l'agriculture rencontre au Bénin et comment relever les défis auxquels l'agriculture au Bénin est confrontée. Pour relever un tel défi, notre choix a été porté sur la jeunesse. Plus précisément, il est question de répondre à la question « Quelle perception les jeunes ont-ils de l'agriculture ? ». Afin de valider nos hypothèses de recherche nous avons utilisé les statistiques descriptives, l'échelle de Likert et le modèle probit sur des données primaires que nous avons recueillies sur un échantillon de 182 étudiants de l'UAC à travers un questionnaire que leur avons administré. A la lumière des analyses qui ont été effectuées, nous avons ressorti que notre première hypothèse est rejetée ce qui confirme que les jeunes ont une bonne perception de l'agriculture. La plupart d'entre d'eux s'intéressent à l'élevage comme secteur s'ils décident de créer une activité agricole. Cependant, l'accès à la terre, l'accès au crédit et la faible mécanisation agricole sont les principales difficultés que les jeunes énoncent et qui peuvent entraver leur désir de faire carrière dans le secteur agricole. L'étude analytique des résultats de la régression nous avons d'observer une relation significative entre les variables (formation, difficulté à l'accès du crédit, expérience agricole, difficulté à l'accès de la terre, un parent vivant en milieu rural et possession de terre agricole en milieu rural) et la perception des jeunes de l'agriculture Réalisé et soutenu par AKPA A.
