The Oxford dictionary defines Anaphylaxis asan acute allergic
reaction to an antigen to which the body has become hypersensitive, the
definition also states that serious allergic reactions,
including anaphylaxis, occur rarely, but timely intervention is
crucial.According toAccording to El Monfalouti et al (2010),the first, and so
far unique, case of an allergy to Argan oil has recently been
presented. Allergen was characterized as a 10 kDa protein, probably
belonging to the family of oleosins that is also encountered in peanut and
sesame.
