V-RECOMMANDATIONS

Nous recommandons ce qui suit :

- Aux pouvoirs publics et politiques :

· Une stratégie nationale du traitement de toute angine non virale, une détection précoce de traitement adapté au RAA, une prévention des récidives chez l'enfant atteint de RAA par la pénicilline benzathine, des soins dentaires et tonsilectomie le cas échéant ;

· Le renforcement de la formation continue du personnel soignant en promouvant les stages de perfectionnement dans le domaine de la cardiologie, et l'octroi des bourses pour la spécialité en Cardiologie ;

- La création d'un centre national spécialisé en cardiologie pour les explorations cardio-vasculaires et la chirurgie cardiaque.

- Aux agents socio-sanitaires :

· Informer de façon correcte les parents des enfants malades en vue d'éviter les écarts de régime et de traitement qui ont toujours émaillé le bon suivi des patients.

· Prévenir systématiquement et cela de façon extensive le RAA par l'éducation pour la santé des mères de famille du risque que court un enfant dès sa première crise d'angine ou toute infection ORL.

- A la communauté :

· Une adhésion rigoureuse au traitement médical de toute infection ORL.

· Une consultation précoce devant toute toux ou dyspnée d'un enfant qui persiste.

· La promotion de la vaccination contre les différents germes à tropisme ORL.
