ABSTRACT :
Internship and project took place in the company Dialonics
over a period of 18 weeks. Mr. Panaget, Director, proposed us as subject of
internship to create an e-commerce assistant. This work
consisted of an analysis of e-Commerce sites, and organizing e-commerce FAQS
questions, by a thematic cross. We then had to carry out a marketing brochure
of
presentation of the product, and finally a UML modeling of the
dialog application. Created in 2009 and headquartered in Lannion, this start-up
has an office in Paris. Labeled young innovative company, it now houses 12
people. Software editor specialized in human-machine dialogs using virtual
agents; this Simplified joint stock company is backed by investors. The main
added value of a virtual agent is to optimize the customer relationship. The
French are the world leaders in this type of market. Dialonics stands out from
the competition by selling autonomous licenses. We work in "open space" and
interact sometimes on other engagements with the various services. We are
equipped with laptop and use the Office 2010 suite and Enterprise Architect
software mainly. In the expression of need, Mr. Panaget raises two
problematics. Can we identify a set of questions by business? Can we pre-fill
the answers provided to the customer? Functional requirements are outlined in
our guidance note; our technical specifications revealed four deliverables, An
Internet user- website relational model, a list of generic questions, a
brochure explaining the method of overlapping issues, and a summary Excel file.
Eventually Dialonics targets a turnkey solution fully configurable by the end
customer, as well as the possibility of extending the offer to a set of
application: e-Tourism, e-banking, e-Insurance etc... Rapid
commercialization of the product will allow Dialonics ensure
returns on investment. The analysis of the existing shows that these
technologies can be coupled to other processes, such as speech synthesis ...
Moreover, Dialonics has developed its own technology of natural language
dialogue: NabuTalk. In an audit report we find that Dialonics is in a niche
market. According to a study leads by a competitor, investment in dialoguing
virtual agents compared to other investments offer the greatest growth
potential for 2010. Note also that competition on this segment is growing. We
had to overlap issues with similar meaning, with an enough broad meaning (known
as generic). Then a list will include all generic issues. The main difficulty
of this task lies in the subjectivity and interpretation issues. Then we had
for mission to carry an A4 brochure marketing for the sales team. Argued work
we have
done in collaboration with Sirs Liébert commercial, le
Guillou CEO and Madam Daniel of marketing department. As Mr. Liébert is
in Paris, we used Skype for the video conference. Last task to perform,
modeling our application. Mr. Panaget sees trough it an easy recovery of the
existing work by another team. This is a programming language based on
pictograms. We have first used the software Enterprise Architect for modeling,
then the eclipse software for programming. All of these tasks required 60 days
man. The added value of this work is twofold, indeed the application can
generate code directly executable, patterns thus produced are used as visual
aids to the customer and have a contractual value. To catch up from the start
we have not completed the tasks of recollecting issues in the validation phase
of the model (Tasks C and D of the projected schedule). Through our work, we
believe it is possible to identify a set of questions for the same profession.
We believe it is also possible to pre-fill the answers in order to limit the
client's work. Finally, we have developed new skills in e-business strategy by
participating in the creation of an e-commerce assistant marketing brochure.
Mr. Panaget has also helped us to meet the challenge to model the e-commerce
assistant application. This internship has also allowed verifying the
feasibility of modeling without prior knowledge. This experience and training
with its dual IT and business skills, allowed us to gain much knowledge in the
field of ICT, Project management and communication tools.
