RESUME
L'objectif de ce travail de recherche est
d'analyser les effets du capital humain sur la transformation structurelle sur
une période de 2000-2017, à partir des données de la
Banque Mondiale, de la CNUCED. Dans un premier temps, nous avons
déterminé l'effet du capital humain sur la diversification des
exportations, ensuite analyser l'effet du capital humain sur la sophistication
des exportations en ASS tout à partir la méthode des moments
généralisés (GMM) sur un échantillon de 22 pays de
cette zone. Il ressort de nos analyses que d'une part, le capital humain a un
effet positif et significatif sur la diversification des exportations en
Afrique subsaharienne. D'autre part, le capital humain a une influence
négative sur la sophistication des exportations en ASS. Par
conséquent, il est primordial pour les pays de cette région de
revoir les politiques éducatives, sanitaires et d'emploi qui vont
induire une augmentation de la productivité. En effet, un capital humain
de qualité prédispose la population à travailler plus dans
le secteur moderne à forte valeur ajoutée et permet aussi la
réorientation de la main-d'oeuvre des secteurs les moins productifs vers
les secteurs les plus productifs induisant ainsi une transformation
structurelle.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this research is to
analyze the effects of human capital on structural transformation over a period
of 2000-2017, using data from the World Bank, UNCTAD. First, we determined the
effect of human capital on export diversification, then analyzed the effect of
human capital on the sophistication of exports in SSA while using the
generalized moments method (GMM) on a sample of 22 countries in this zone. Our
analyzes show that, on the one hand, human capital has a positive and
significant effect on export diversification in sub-Saharan Africa. On the
other hand, human capital has a negative influence on the sophistication of
exports in SSA. Therefore, it is essential for countries in this region to
review education, health and employment policies that will lead to an increase
in productivity. Indeed, quality human capital predisposes the population to
work more in the modern sector with high added value and also allows the
reorientation of the labor force from the least productive sectors to the most
productive sectors thus inducing a structural transformation. .
