Summary: Structure of the stands of Oak Tunisia: current
situation and future of an ecosystem.
In this work we tried to identify the current state of Oak in
Kroumirie represents the current structure and compare with those studied by
other inventories. Similarly, we studied the impact of environmental factors on
the density and diameter structure of cork oak. Finally, we evaluated the
evolution of this structure during the period (1983 - 2003) in terms of
disruption.
The results of the examination of the record plot (239 plots
inventoried) have the structure that stands in the Oak in Kroumirie is mainly
represented by the classes of seedlings and seed. The intermediate classes are
less represented. The comparative study revealed that the current structure is
comparable to that prevailing presented in 1983.
Analysis of variance of the impact of environmental factors
showed that the altitude, exposure, slope and distance to nearest douars have
an effect on the density and structure diameter of the cork oak in Kroumirie.
The settlements are the most balanced in alticola stations at low or moderate
slopes, exhibitions cooler (northern) and the most remote douars.
Analysis of variance of the effect of environmental factors on
the distribution of the density of cork oak, all diameter classes combined, for
each station showed a wide variation within the same class or a class another
altitude, exposure, slope, relative distances to the nearest douars. Indeed,
high densities were recorded at stations alticola, low slope, exposure (North)
and more distant from the douars.
The study of the dynamics of Oak in Kroumirie according to
these factors during the period (1983-2008) was carried out by the of periodic
inventories. The results of the comparison showed that the regression of has
affected all stages of growth.
